Bandon Preserve is Coore & Crenshaw's 13-hole par-3 course, laid out above the ocean at a walkable 1,609 yards—short enough to play in under two hours, dramatic enough that plenty of guests play it twice.
Proceeds from the course support the Wild Rivers Coast Alliance; it's as much a reason to come back as the championship courses.
From up on the 8th you can see why the Preserve gets played twice. The greens sit out in the dunes with the Pacific filling the horizon, a lone wind-bent pine for company, and nothing between you and the water but fescue and sand. Thirteen holes, none of them long, every one of them looking at the ocean.
Greens are scheduled for aeration 26–27 October 2026, with roughly 14 days of recovery after. Expect normal green speeds from about 10 Nov.
