Valley Course

The Valley is the tougher half of the pairing. Robinson put more water in the landing zones, dug the bunkers deeper and mounded the fairways so approach shots run into contoured greens. It plays 6,679 yards to a par of 72 from the back tees, with four sets to choose from.

It shares the Palm's palette—palms, water, mountains on the horizon—but asks for more precise golf to score. The Santa Rosa Mountains sit behind nearly every target.

There's no single postcard hole on the Valley; its character is the sum of the parts—water short of the greens, deep bunkering and the rocky wall of the Santa Rosa Mountains behind almost every shot. It's the round to play when you want the Robinson water golf with more teeth.
