Firecliff is Desert Willow's championship course—7,056 yards to a par of 72, with more than a hundred bunkers threading the desert corridors and five sets of tees down to about 5,000 yards. It opened in 1997 to the Hurdzan/Fry/Cook plan.
A summer 2024 renovation rebuilt the greens in Mini Verde Bermuda, reshaped the tees and fraise-mowed the fairways; the course reopened that December. It rewards precise, committed golf and shows off the Santa Rosa Mountains from nearly every hole.
Firecliff's character is its sand—more than a hundred bunkers set into the desert to pinch the driving lines and ring the greens. The 2024 rebuild sharpened all of it, from resurfaced greens to reshaped tees, on a layout that was already the tournament course of the pair.
This course books through the resort's own reservations portal.
