Mountain View is the more approachable course at Desert Willow, opened in 1998 a year after its championship sibling. It plays 6,913 yards to a par of 72 across rolling fairways, with water features, native desert planting and eight tee sets that open it to any handicap.

It keeps the same Hurdzan/Fry/Cook fingerprints and the same mountain backdrop as Firecliff, but asks for less precision—a good round to pair with the tougher course over a two-day visit.
