Opened in 1997, the Ocean Course sits on open bluff land with wide-angle ocean views and almost no tree cover. Native grasses and firm, rolling ground define the look and the strategy.

It plays in the links idiom—the ball runs, the wind is constant, and club selection and green-reading do most of the work. There's little shelter out here.

Caddie notes
01Wind is the constant, not the exception—expect sustained gusts and add club accordingly.
02Firm fairways feed the ball forward; landing zones often run shorter than they look, and firm greens reward a lower, controlled approach.
