Opened in 1997, the Ocean Course sits on open bluff land with wide-angle ocean views and almost no tree cover. Native grasses and firm, rolling ground define the look and the strategy.
It plays in the links idiom—the ball runs, the wind is constant, and club selection and green-reading do most of the work. There's little shelter out here.
Both courses book through Half Moon Bay Golf Links; resort guests get priority tee times.
