Turtle Point is Jack Nicklaus's Kiawah course, a parkland routing through maritime forest and tidal lagoon that saves its drama for a three-hole ocean stretch in the middle of the back nine.
At a shade under 6,900 yards it rewards accuracy and course management over raw length, with strategic bunkering and green complexes that ask for a plan off every tee. It has hosted the PGA Cup and remains a members' and guests' favorite.
