Long Point opened in 1987 as Tom Fazio's course on the Amelia Island Club side of the island, and it carries the resort's oceanfront golf—several holes run right along the Atlantic, with dunes and wind part of the strategy. It plays 6,679 yards to a par of 72, moving from salt marsh through oak-and-pine forest to the shoreline.
It's a private-club course, but Omni resort guests can play it on a limited basis—book through the pro shop and plan ahead. Natural waste bunkers and large, rolling greens reward local knowledge over raw power.
Long Point's identity is its coast: a handful of holes running along the ocean with the resort on the horizon, waste bunkers and marsh framing the approach. It's the round you come to Amelia to play—wind off the water, sand everywhere, and the sea a constant.
This course books through the resort's own reservations portal.
