This was Tom Weiskopf's final design, completed by his partner Phil Smith after Weiskopf died in 2022. It threads through fields of black basalt lava, fairways running 70 to 100 yards wide for playability against ground that gives no quarter off the short grass, with two drivable par 4s—the 5th and the 14th—in the Weiskopf tradition.
It plays as a par 72 from a Championship card near 6,900 yards (the resort markets a rounded 7,500 from the tips; tournament weeks convert a par 5 and stretch past 7,400). Golfweek already ranks it Utah's number-one course, and the PGA Tour and LPGA have both come to town. It's built for cart golf—the walks between greens and tees run long.
