Built in 1975 by Joe Lee, Indian Mound is the shortest of Jekyll Island's 18-hole courses at 6,469 yards, but length was never the point. Tight, nature-wrapped corridors put a premium on finding the right spots off the tee.
It runs seasonally, roughly October through May, when the Georgia coast is at its best for golf. Par 72 and the most affordable of the island's rounds—an easy add to a multi-course Jekyll stay.
