The Robert Trent Jones course is Palmetto Dunes' first and most famous: RTJ Sr. laid it out in the late 1960s (Roger Rulewich refreshed it in 2003) around the resort's signature lagoon system, and it holds the rarest card on Hilton Head—an actual oceanfront hole, the par-5 10th playing along the Atlantic.
At 7,005 yards, par 72, it's the most resort-friendly of the three: generous off the tee, water in play on most holes, and the beach a wedge away. It's the round every Hilton Head first-timer wants.
This course books through the resort's own reservations portal.
