Omni Tucson National is one of Arizona's classic golf resorts, tucked below the Santa Catalina Mountains northwest of downtown Tucson. Its two courses are a study in contrast: the Catalina is Von Hagge and Devlin's lush parkland design that hosted the PGA Tour's Tucson stop for decades, all lakes and mature trees; the Sonoran, by Tom Lehman, is modern desert target golf routed through native cactus and elevation.

Play both in a day and you've seen the two faces of Southwest golf—green, watered tradition and stark desert drama—framed by the same mountains. Tucson's winter-golf season runs November through April, when the desert is at its kindest and the resort is at its busiest.
