Moab Golf Club sits in Spanish Valley a few miles south of town, an 18-hole public layout cut from the same red sandstone country that draws millions to Arches and Canyonlands. The course opened as nine holes in 1962 and grew to a full 18 in the late 1980s—green corridors laid against slickrock fins, juniper, and open desert, with the snow-capped La Sal Mountains standing over the back nine.

It is the only golf in town, and a natural add-on to a national-parks trip: play early in the cool of the morning, then spend the afternoon on the arches, overlooks, and slickrock that made Moab famous.
